Start with
a solid foundation
PFBoost works with keywords your website already appears for in search. Check these three things before you launch.
- Your pages are accessible
Your key pages load correctly and are available to search engines.
- Your keywords are relevant
Your website has pages for the products or services you want to promote.
- Customers can take action
Your site works on mobile. Contact details, links and enquiry forms all work.
For a Maps project, have your published business listing and its full URL ready.
Set up your
Search campaign
Choose Yandex Search or Google Search. Add your website, the keywords you want to target and the locations you serve.
1Add your website
Paste the full URL, such as https://example.com, into the website field.
2Choose your keywords
Enter at least 30 keywords, one per line. Import an Excel file, or select “find keyword” below the step heading to get suggestions.
Suggestions appear in “Recommended keywords”. Use the “+” button to select individual phrases or choose “Add all”. Keep only keywords relevant to your pages. Duplicate entries are removed automatically.
Screenshots use example details. A Search campaign needs a complete list of at least 30 keywords.
3Set your target location
Select one or more cities or regions. If a location is not listed, enter its name or region code and select “Find region”.
Select “Start project”. You will be prompted to sign in or create an account if needed. Your new campaign will appear in “My projects”.
Set up a projectCheck and promote
your business
on Maps
Add your business listing to promote it for your chosen keywords. PFBoost also checks available listing information and tracks your rankings.
Promotion on Yandex Maps uses behavioral factors. Listing checks and recommendations help you improve the listing itself.
1Add your business listing
Choose “Yandex/Google Maps”. Enter your business name and paste the full URL of your listing.
Open the business listing in your browser and copy the address bar URL. Short links from the Share menu are not supported. Select “Continue”.
2Choose up to 10 keywords
Enter one phrase per line. Focus on the products and services customers search for when looking for a business like yours.
You can edit individual keywords or remove them with the “×” button. Review the list, then select “Next”.
3Review and launch
Check the listing URL and keywords. If you have discovery visit figures from Yandex Business, enter the top competitor’s visits and your own visits for the same week.
If competitor data is unavailable, leave that field blank. For a new listing, select “New listing, no visits yet”. Then select “Start”.
Find your campaign under “My projects → Maps”. Check the status of each keyword there. If your listing was not found for a keyword, you can replace it.
Set up a projectSee what
changes
Your first results appear after the initial check. Reports show measured rankings, rather than a guaranteed position in search results.
Compare like for like
Use the same keyword and location across different dates to see how your ranking changes.
Look at the whole picture
Review the full keyword list. For Maps, check for keywords marked “Listing not found”.
Check the report date
The first ranking check starts when you launch your project. Active projects are then checked weekly, on Mondays at 09:00 Belgrade time. Reports update once the data arrives: check the measurement date.
Progress depends on competition, location, your website or listing, and the keywords you target. There is no fixed timeline for reaching the top results.
A few things
to know
A few things to know before you start. Once you’re ready, set up your campaign.
Set up a projectDo I need to install anything?
